There are a million ways to solve a design problem.  When  I am researching design ideas I always check out  Design Inspiration, Piccsy, Pinterest , Etsy and Minted  to get those creative juices flowing. I look at what the pros and newbies are doing, make a file of ideas and apply them to the subject I am working on.  Ideas I use from other designers are never duplicated but rather take on a journey of their own where the end result sometimes works yet always surprises me.
